What is an overflow pipe?
Simply put, when the cyclone is working, the suspension enters from the feed inlet and generates centrifugal force during high-speed rotation. Coarse particles are thrown towards the wall of the cyclone and discharged from the bottom outlet, while fine particles and most of the liquid flow out from the top overflow pipe. The overflow pipe is the “outlet channel”, and its design and material directly affect the separation accuracy and equipment stability.
